Ph.D., Integrated Engineering,Apr. 2004 − Aug. 2007

Dissertation: Mathematical Formulation and Scheduling Heuristics for Cyclic Permutation Flow-Shops
Advisor: Dr. Robert P. Judd
Abstract: Designed a mathematical formulation for cyclic flow-shops using max-plus algebra and developed scheduling heuristics to efficiently generate optimal or near-optimal schedules for a given flow-shop.

Ohio University, Athens, Ohio
Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering

M.S., Industrial Engineering,Aug. 1999 − Mar. 2004

Thesis: Data Exchange in Multi-Disciplinary Optimization Frameworks
Advisor: Dr. Robert P. Judd
Abstract: Developed two tools using Java to facilitate an efficient and effective data exchange mechanism that handles one-dimensional arrays and name-value pairs with a data-caching algorithm to permit interoperability of these two tools.
