The shows on 2/29, 3/5, and 3/8 will be the same but the Saturday afternoon, 1:00 show, we will be doing things a little different. We will be presenting alternate versions of Three Miniatures and Benediction with Sarah Josephian taking over all the vocal duties. Instead of Three Prayers we will be premiering my brand new (by brand new, I mean I haven’t finished writing it yet) set of five duets for guitar, The Elements.
Also,I am promoting the show of my good friend Craig VonBerg. Although he is much too modest to admit it, Craig and his trio, with John Lauffenberger, bass, and Brian Hamada, drums, are one of the musical treasures of Central California. If you haven’t seen them play, you are truly missing out. Below is their press release:

Craig VonBerg considers himself a jazz musician first. In fact, he’s been creating improvised music most of his life – in one form or another – but none more satisfying than when he is playing with his friends and top-shelf jazz musicians, Brian Hamada on drums, and John Lauffenburger on bass. “There is a synergy that’s really hard to describe. It’s kind of mysterious…maybe that’s how it should be.” It might be simply explained: three of the Valley’s most highly regarded jazz musicians, coming together, doing what they love, playing jazz. Come experience this amazing, unpredictable trio.
