U.S. Geological Survey's Geologic Hazards

It may be necessary to navigate through several pages at the National Landslide Information Center site to answer the questions. However, much of the needed information can be found at the Landslide Hazard Fact Sheet page.

The information on the 1994 Glenwood Springs, Colorado, and the 1994 southeren California landslides is reached from the page Landslide publications, accessed from the main home page for the National Landslide Information Center

Follow instructions in workbook for remainder of exercises.

Natural Resources Canada

Links have changed. From the URL given (shown to the left, here), choose you language, then at the next page, navigate through the Natural Resources button to find the link to Geological Survey of Canada

Continue as instructed. However, the link to "Landslide hazards" has been changed to Landslides and snow avalanches in Canada

Also, for the Lemieux Landslide, information on "...amount of material moved..." and "...cost" has been omitted from the rewritten page, so these questions can't be answered.
