For Part 1, from the opening page of the National Geophysical Data Center take the link to Marine Geology and Geophysics then Marine Geology and finally Sediment Thickness of the Oceans . Click on the image at the top of the page and continue as instructed. For Part 2, backtrack to the Marine Sediment & Rock Data page and scroll down to find the question (and link) "What is marine sediment made of?" Continue as instructed.
