A unified search of the government’s vast stores of scientific and technical information., Science.gov allows users to search the surface web as well as the deep web, where traditional search engines cannot go. Science.gov is an interagency initiative of 16 U.S. government science organizations within 12 Federal agencies.

Food and nutrition information from across the federal government.

Scirus.com Science Specific Search Engine
In the Advanced Search you can restrict your results by type of resource and subject (Agricultural and Biological Sciences)

Google Scholar
Peer-reviewed papers, theses, books, abstracts and articles, from academic publishers, professional societies, preprint repositories, universities and other scholarly organizations.
· In Advanced Search you can restrict your search to Biology, Life Sciences, and Environmental Science.
· Add California State University Fresno, Henry Madden Library to the Library Links form in Scholar Preferences to link into our subscription databases for access to the text of journal articles.
