Dr. Cui Lin is currently a tenure-track assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science at California State University, Fresno, the director of Keck Computational Science Center. She received her Ph.D. in computer science from Wayne State University in 2010. Dr. Lin was an IBM certified DB2 Database Expert, and she worked for IBM (IBM Global Services) as the system analyst and project manager after she received her B.E. in Computer Science from Beijing Information Science and Technology University. Her research interests focus on the management of scientific workflows on service-oriented Cloud computing environment, and the development of data and compute intensive scientific applications. She has published many refereed international conference papers and journals, including IEEE Transactions on Services Computing (TSC) and IEEE Transactions on  Information Technology in Biomedicine (TITB). She currently serves on the Program Committee of the IEEE International Workshop on Scientific Workflows (SWF), IEEE International Conference on Service Oriented Computing & Applications (SOCA), and the Co-chair of the International Workshop on Workflow Models, Systems, Services and Applications in the Cloud (CloudFlow). Dr. Lin is now leading new computing efforts to build up the ATLAS Tier-3 Cloud in Fresno State(108 cores, 45TB cloud storage), in addition to ATLAS Tier-3 Cluster (136 job slots, 108TB raw storage) for CSU ATLAS Program, and collaborating with the Lawrence Berkley Lab, Brookhaven National Lab, Nanjing University (NJU), University of Electronic and Science Technology of China (UESTC) and other institutions for the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) of the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) near Geneva, Switzerland. She is a member of IEEE.
