Avoid the Dreaded Line Plot!

A related symptom of DLPS (Dreaded Line Plot Syndrome) is a titration curve that shows the equivalence point region all stretched out.

Remedy for DLPS: Make sure you choose the XY (Scatter) plot, not the Line plot.

Additional graphing tip: When graphing data for Linear Least Squares Analysis

  • (1) Don't connect the dots.

  • (2) Select the data series, then choose Trendline... to draw the least squares line through the data.
