- 11-19-14: Homework #10, problem 7, has a type-o in the hint. The hint should refer you to Section 3.4, not Section 3.5
- 11-19-14: A type-o in my solutions for the last problem of Homework #7 was pointed out to me. It has been fixed and the corrected solutions are posted. The last sentence should have concluded with "$3n + 8$ is even."
- 11-17-14: Midterm III will be postponed until Wednesday, December 3, 2014.

- 10-15-14: For problem 7 of Homework #6, make sure to include n = 0 as a separate case.
- 10-03-14: In the solutions for HW #5, have fixed the type-o's on various problems and improved the explanation for problem 7(b). The corrected solutions were posted at 1:45 p.m.
- 09-28-14: I will hold one extra office hour on Monday, just for Math 111 students, from 10:30-11:30.
- 09-12-14: A good source for LaTeX symbols is Art of Problem Solving: LateX Symbols
- 09-08-14: For Homework #2, you need to e-mail the instructor not only your LaTeX file but also the image files for problem 4. Otherwise, the instructor will be unable to typeset your LaTeX file. For best results, images should be saved as PNG images.
