Personal Information

I have been teaching at Fresno State since the Fall of 2004, having taught at UCLA for four years in the Mathematics Department. At UCLA, I taught both programming courses and math courses. Check out my CV for more detailed information.

I received my Ph.D. in applied mathematics from UCLA in 2000. I received my Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering at UCLA, and later decided to pursue my graduate degree in applied mathematics. My research interests include numerical analysis, particularly multigrid methods and their application to image processing. My dissertation has been published as a Computational and Applied Mathematics (CAM) report, which can be found here
