Learning Resource Center
The Learning Resource Center (http://studentaffairs. csufresno.edu/lrc/main.html) has tutors that can help you proof laboratory reports, work with excel, and with general chemistry skills. The center is located in the Peter’s Annex (portable units south of the science building) and is typically open M-F from 8-5 and Wednesdays until 7.
TLT-Technology Training
TLT (http://training.csufresno.edu/Tutorials/ defaultStudent.asp) provides several video tutorials on using software including Word and Excel. Several of these videos cover topics relevant to chemical data analysis and report writing.

Dr. Zellmer's Websites for Chem 102 annd Chem 106 contain a wide variety of tutorials on topics from analytical chemistry as well as the use of Excel for chemcial problem solving.
Recommended Books on Excel
Microsoft Excel 2002 for Scientists and Engineers (Bernard V Liengme, 3rd Ed, ~$33.95) is an exercise based book on the use of Excel in scientific and engineering problems. It offers a suitable balance of introductory material for those using excel for the first time along with more advanced topics such as curve fitting, modeling, and statistics.
Excel for Chemists (E. Joseph Billo, 2nd Ed, ~$57.68) is a book that covers advanced applications of Microsoft Excel to chemical applications. With only a brief overview of basic operations, it is a more appropriate text for users already familiar with the basics of using Excel.
