• An article I am very skeptical about, ``Eureka! Scientists break speed of light.'' The reason why I am skeptical is not because of the boldness of the claim (it it's true, it'll be among the most important findings in the history of physics). It's the way they say "This weekend Wang said he could not give details but confirmed: `Our light pulses did indeed travel faster than the accepted speed of light.'"
  

  If they don't give the details, how can the rest of us check whether it's right? Perhaps they don't want to know, themselves? Remember what happened with "cold fusion"?
