COMPUTER APPLICATIONS IN COMMUNICATION: COMM 165 provides an introduction to the use of computers in the communication professions in the modern world. Students will get "hands on" experience using microcomputers for word processing, database management, spreadsheets, presentation visuals, electronic mail, using the Internet (including development of home pages), and making a movie. Selected software for communication applications will be examined.

Assignment: 

bullet Connect to https://help.csufresno.edu/, log in as a student, and download and install Endnote on your home computer.
bullet Create a "library" [a bibliographic feature in Endnote].
bullet Connect to the Madden Library and do a periodicals search for at least three articles on a communication topic of interest to you;
then find at least three books on the same topic. For each of these, make entries in your Endnote Library.
bullet Finally, open Word and create a bibliography in APA format using these references.  You will need to adapt to APA format.
bullet Save your Word bibliography and upload to your class website with a link on your homepage.
