20Sept2010 Writing Assignment

Write a three-page essay on the topic, “Communication Theories as Scientific Theories.”

Base this essay on what you have learned from the lectures so far and your reading of the first three chapters of the Wood textbook.

I expect your essay to follow the advice on writing an essay.  I want you to use at least five quotations from lecture or textbook or from Internet searches on your own.  Follow my advice on how to properly use quotations in your writing.  Finally I want you to have a proper APA in-text citation and at the end of the paper a References page in proper form.

Class will not meet on Friday Sept 24^th.  You will have time to work on this paper at home. 

This assignment is due on Monday September 27^th.
