I am an assistant professor of Mathematics at California State University, Fresno.
I received my B.A. in Mathematics from the University of California at Berkeley in 1994. I obtained my Master's degree in 1998 and my Ph.D. in August 2003, both in Mathematics, from the University of Oregon. My current research interests lie in the area of low-dimensional algebraic topology.

In my free time (ha ha) I like singing, acting, and the outdoors. I am an avid Gilbert and Sullivan fan and have performed principal roles at the International Gilbert and Sullivan Festival in Buxton, England. Most recently I performed the role of Constance in the SavoyNet production of The Sorcerer on August 9, 2002.
