Movie Analysis

In class we watched the movie, “Thank you for smoking”

Each student is to identify some of the claims made by the characters. In a two page paper, students are to define a minimum of three claims (including support), state if they agree with the claim and give a rationale for that position. Papers are to be two pages, typed, double spaced and in an acceptable font.

State the first claim, give description of context in which the claim was made, your position (do you agree or not)  and rationale then state the second claim etc.

Analysis papers are due on

Tuesday November 9th

Papers are due at the beginning of class. I will not accept the papers late.

Content of the movie will also be on the next quiz, so if you missed a portion of the movie I would advise you to rent it.

Paper analysis is worth 30 points.
