Negotiation Tournament

The semi-annual Reedley College Negotiation Tournament is an opportunity to show off your negotiating skills and the power of persuasion. In a fast-paced and fun tournament speech students face off with their peers to see who has the best persuasive skills. The tournament is open to all students enrolled in a speech class. The general session of the tournament lasts approximately two hours. The final round, featuring only the top 20 negotiators immediately follows the general session.

Negotiators are given scenarios and a role to play, each round is strictly timed and results are calculated quickly. The negotiators with the best scores make it into the final round. The top contestants compete for the top five places and are awarded certificates. The best negotiator is given a special prize and bragging rights for the year.
