Class attendance is strongly encouraged. In addition to new material, important course information will be given in class, often various handouts will be given.

There will be weekly homework due Friday at the beginning of class covering the material of the preceding week. Please bring your homework to class! New: by a popular request, homeworks are now accepted till at least 2 pm on Fridays. Occasionally, if I am in the department, you may turn your homework in even later on Friday. However: there is no guarantee that I will be in the department after 2 pm. You must check with me first to see till what time I am going to be around if you'd like to turn your homework in later. Homeworks turned in after I leave on Friday will be considered late! You may only submit up to 3 homeworks late (but not later than on the following Monday, at the beginning of class). The Monday 9:15 am deadline is still firm because I return graded papers and sometimes hand out solutions on Monday. If you are sick and unable to come to campus, please notify me and ask for a longer extension.

Extra Help: It is essential not to fall behind, because each class may use the material studied previously. If you have trouble with some material, seek help in the following ways:

If you are having any difficulties, seek help immediately - don't wait until it is too late to recover from falling behind, or failing to understand a concept!

Students with disabilities: upon identifying themselves to the University, students with disabilities will receive necessary accommodation for learning and evaluation. For more information, see http://studentaffairs.csufresno.edu/ssd

Academic honesty: cheating and plagiarism will not be tolerated in this class. For information on the University's policy, see the University Catalog (section Policies and Regulations).
