Catalog Description     Calculus I (4 units):
Prerequisite: passing score on the department's Calculus Readiness Testrequired prior to enrollment. In addition, students must meet the ELM requirement. Functions, graphs, limits, continuity, derivatives and applications, definite and indefinite integrals. G.E. Foundation B4.

There will be a problem set for each section covered in class. These will be due on Mon, Tue, Wed, or Thur nights (11:59 PM). It is your responsibility to check the due dates carefully.
 
Written Assignments/Quizzes
Each instructor will announce in class what written assignments or quizzes will be given in his or her section(s).
 
Midterm Exams
There will be 4 midterm exams, given in class. Check the schedule for exam dates. There will be no make-ups given except for serious reasons such as illness/hospitalization. Books, notes, or calculators are NOT allowed on exams.
 
Final Exam
The final exam is Saturday, December 14 from 3:30-5:30pm in MCL 121. You will need to bring your photo ID, a Scantron sheet (Form 882-E), and a #2 pencil to the final exam. The final exam is comprehensive. Books, notes, or calculators are NOT allowed on the final exam.
