Catalog Description     Calculus I (4 units):
Prerequisite: passing score on the department's Calculus Readiness Testrequired prior to enrollment. In addition, students must meet the ELM requirement. Functions, graphs, limits, continuity, derivatives and applications, definite and indefinite integrals. G.E. Foundation B4.

There will be a problem set for each section covered in class. These will be due on Mon, Tue, Wed, or Thur nights (11:59 PM). It is your responsibility to check the due dates carefully.
 
Written Assignments/Quizzes
Each instructor will announce in class what written assignments or quizzes will be given in his or her section(s).
 
Midterm Exams
There will be 4 midterm exams, given in class. Check the schedule for exam dates. There will be no make-ups given except for serious reasons such as illness/hospitalization. Books, notes, or calculators are NOT allowed on exams.
 
Final Exam
The final exam is Saturday, May 10, 3:30-5:30 pm, in MCL 161. You will need to bring your photo ID, a Scantron sheet (Form 882-E), and a #2 pencil to the final exam. The final exam is comprehensive. Books, notes, or calculators are NOT allowed on the final exam.

Supplemental Instruction (SI) is provided for all students who want to improve their understanding of the material taught in this course. SI sessions are led by a student who has already mastered the course material and has been trained to facilitate group sessions where students can meet to compare class notes, review and discuss important concepts, develop strategies for studying, and prepare for exams. The SI leader attends this class and communicates regularly with the instructor to ensure that accurate information is given. Attendance at SI sessions is free and voluntary for any student enrolled in this course. Students may attend as many times as they choose. Days and times of SI sessions TBD.

IMPORTANT: Math 75 is a coordinated course, so many policies, assignments and exams, as well as schedule are governed and administered by the Math 75 team as a whole. This syllabus and schedule are subject to change in the event of extenuating circumstances.
