Intellectual Contributions

The highlights my scholarly work and intellectual contributions include:

  • authored/co-authored over 35 articles and books which have been published in leading journals and other publications including the Journal of Financial Research, Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Managerial Finance, Global Finance Journal, American Business Review, and Journal of Product & Brand Management, and by Praeger Publishing, Harvard University Printing/Publishing Services, and McGraw-Hill Publishing.
  • founded the Global Finance Journal (1989) and, as Editor, turned it into a leading refereed publication worldwide with an acceptance rate of 15%; the GFJ's 40+ editorial board is the 'Who's Who' in Global Business Finance. One hundred and fifty articles have been published.
  • served on the editorial boards of reputable journals, including American Business Review, International Journal of Finance, and International Journal of Business.
  • founded the Global Finance Conference in 1994. The past five Conferences, sponsored by more than 50 institutions, have brought together hundreds of leading scholars and practitioners representing 200 institutions worldwide. Dr. Lawrence Klein, the Nobel Laureate was the keynote speaker at the fifth Global Finance Conference in Mexico City.
