Research Interests:

·  Soil-water-interaction: e.g., surface and subsurface erosions of soils and erosion prevention; seepage and drainage in soils and geosynthetics; erosion effect on soil strength and earth embankment stability.

·  Soil seismic behavior: e.g., effect of seismicity on soil erosion.

·  Particle transport and multi-phase flow and distribution in porous media.

·  Geoenvironmental engineering: e.g., electrokinetic remediation involving geosynthetics.

·  Application of geophysical techniques in subsoil monitoring
