Prerequisites: CSCI 150. Service Oriented Architecture is a cutting-edge software engineering paradigm. It provides a technical infrastructure for the Agile Enterprise by creating services that act as flexible building blocks that can easily be rearranged according to the needs of the Enterprise. This course presents the concepts, theories, and techniques for Web Services and Service-Oriented Architecture. Students will learn how to design and launch Web Services and learn how to use the current standards (e.g., WSDL, SOAP, and UDDI) through practical projects.
