Math 76 Rules for Midterm II Corrections
  1. The questions that are eligible for bonus points are
    • Multiple Choice #4, 5, 6 (2 points each)
    • Work and Answer #4 (up to 5 points)
The points you receive will be added to your Midterm II score.
  2. The number of bonus points you can get depends on how many of the above questions you missed. If you got a multiple choice question correct, it will not be eligible for bonus points because you have already scored 5 points for that problem. For Work and Answer #4, the number of possible bonus points is as follows:
    Your scorePossible bonus
    05
    15
    24
    34
    43
    100
The number of bonus points you are eligible for should be written in the top right corner on the front of your midterm. For example, if you missed two of the Multiple Choice questions (#4, 5, 6 only; see (1) above) and got 1 out of 10 on Work and Answer #4, you should see 4 + 5 on the front of your test to indicate that you are eligible for 4 bonus points for the multiple choice questions and 5 for the work and answer question.
  3. IMPORTANT. Do not make any changes to your actual test. Instead, write your corrections on a separate piece(s) of paper and staple it/them to the back of your test. Failure to follow these procedures will forfeit your bonus.
  4. For each question for which you wish to submit corrections, your solution should be written neatly, showing all relevant work, following the format rules that apply to homework.
  5. All corrections are due on Friday, April 13 at 4:00pm. No late corrections will be accepted.
