Welcome to my Musicomania page! I know what you're thinking. Where the heck did he get the term Musicomania from? Well....I was actually looking through the dictionary and it defined Musicomania as "an abnormal fondness for music". Being that everything in my life is everything BUT normal and I have well over 1,200 CDs in my personal music collection chose the fate of this page's name.
This page is for music lover's of all kinds. I'm into every style of music out there (except for Rap and Country....sorry folks). And over time, I'll have hundreds of artist home pages, links, and song links up. The reason I felt like doing this is because it seems like it's getting harder and harder to find a sample of the music by artists. Music is supposed to sell itself isn't it? And who wants to buy an album based on words alone?!?! (Although I used to buy albums just by looking at the album cover.....not a wise decision I later found out...heh heh!)
I initially was going to just make a jukebox but it would be nice to have the home page, a song to listen to, and a place to buy it! Therefore, the purpose of this page is simple. Click on the artist's name to get to that particular home page. Click on the "Hear them" link if you wanna skip the research and go to listen to the songs (which I would usually do), and of course, "Buy it" if you like what you hear. Keep in mind that some that I haven't found songs to I linked to CD Now because they have a lot of 30 second samples of the songs up so look for a little sound icon next to the album titles in order to hear some tunes. My experiences have been that the Real Audio server that was set up from CD Now is too busy all the time from all the other people listening to music.
That is all from me! Enjoy the links and let me know if there are any changes or dead links that I can change. And, of course, let me know of new bands that you would recommend I put up as well...:-) I'm always looking for new songs to listen to. Thanks....Rob Bartsch
Digital Chainsaw is now officially history (since I STILL haven't heard from them 2 weeks after the fact that they pulled down my site). AND.....I welcome you to the Free Spree Web Account that I recently acquired. The only downfall to getting back the Real Audio tracks was that I had to cut them to 3 minutes since the upload limit per file was 500k. BUT, now there are songs on here thanks to SPREE (I strongly recommend you check them out too if you're looking for space and hey....let's help them out. It's nice to have a web server that does right by you.....maybe Digital Chainsaw will learn something after all...heh heh)! Let me know if there are any bad links and I'll fix them. I was in a HUGE hurry to bring everything back up to par. So....ENJOY! :-)
