Math 111 Home Page and Selected Course Materials (celtic knot)
Instructor: Dr. Katherine Kelm
This is the home page for Math 111, Spring 2008. Click here to go to the syllabus. NOTE: If updates to the syllabus become necessary, I will announce any changes in class. These changes override any information contained in the above syllabus. You are responsible for obtaining the most up-to-date information.
Here you will also find downloadable course documents, such as handouts, worksheets, homework lists, exams, and exam solutions as they become available. Some of these documents are in ".pdf" format. In order to view and print them, you will need a pdf viewer such as Adobe Acrobat Reader. Most Fresno State computers have it. To get a free copy, click here. If you are having difficulty downloading the documents, it sometimes helps to save the files to disk and then open them in your .pdf reader rather than having the browser open them for you. Please let me know if you have any trouble reading them.

    1. The solutions to the practice problems for the midterm are now available above. As usual, I have not proofread these solutions very thoroughly (I am concentrating on making sure the actual exam has no errors!), so if you spot any errors or typos, please let me know so I can fix them.
    2. A reminder that our problem session this week will be longer to give us extra time to go over problems before the test. It will be from 9:00 to 10:30am. Please come and bring your questions!
  • 5/7 (NEW)
    1. You can now download all HW solutions from the Homework List page.
    2. There is a practice final exam now available above. Solutions will be posted soon.
    3. As mentioned in class and on the syllabus, in order to ensure the academic integrity of this course, I will be checking your student ID at or before the final exam. If you have not already done so, please bring it to consultation or office hours before the final exam so you do not have to worry about it on the day. If you decide to skip the final exam, you will still need to bring your ID to me before you start your summer break! Your grade for this course will not be processed until I have verified your ID. The only exception will be if you earn an F for the course. Thank you for your cooperation.
    4. A reminder that I will be holding consultation hours tomorrow (Thursday) morning in S2 323 (our problem session room) from 10-12. Hope to see you there!
